Game, Set, Glass: Enhancing Wimbledon’s Broadcasting Centre

June 24th saw the launch of this year’s Wimbledon Championships. Amongst the excitement, you may have missed the news regarding the rebuild and redesign of ESPN’s broadcast centre.

We certainly didn’t! Trust in Safe Hands were proud to be a part of the renovation – lifting the impressive 34-by-6-foot window offering a completely unobstructed view of Court 18.

The epic installation was completed with two of our Hoeflon C6e fully-electric cranes, two Kappel DSZ2 vacuum lifters and our Almac 2.5T tracked carrier, along with the latest addition to our fleet – the Volvo beavertail complete with Fassi crane. The smooth operation was completed by three members of our experienced team to the full satisfaction of our client.
